What Causes Red Spots On The Chest And Forehead?

my son is 11months old ad 3 days ago i noticed a couple red spots on his, chest, and back, today is day 3 and he now has red spots on his chest, back, & forehead. the spots are almost not even bumpy very flat like and my son had a fever the 2 days ago. he is eating normal and seems to be normal? what can i do im scared it might be measels?! im a forst time mom so thank you for help

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I know that you are very concerned about your child but don't worry.
The rash that you have described and the way they have appeared, it points very much towards possibility of measles.
Fever for two days before the rash also goes in favour of measles.
I think you should take some good pictures of the lesions and send to us for confirmation of diagnosis.
