General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Periods, bleeding or spotting occurs from the Uterus. You, therefore, have to look for other causes since the uterus has been removed. it has nothing to do with the presence of ovaries.

Spotting, in your case, can, therefore, be due to injury, infection or a growth in the vagina.

Consult your gynecologist, who will find the cause of bleeding after examining you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
