Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I have internal and external hemmoroids. I have been to my doctor and I have an appointment with another doctor to get them dealt with. Here is my question. Why is it that when need to poop it seems like watery reddish feces followed by normal feces. An answer would be great. Thank you
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Since you are a known case of internal as well as external hemorrhoids, the watery reddish feces may probably be due to the oozing from the piles and hence can be cured by the proper management or say surgery of the hemorrhoids. Get this examined and confirmed by the ano-proctoscopy, colonoscopy to rule out any cancer that too can cause such changes and get operated accordingly. Take laxatives. Take Sitz bath. Avoid foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems.
