What Causes Reddish Bump On Forearm?

I have a tiny bump on my forearm (the size of maybe a pea,maybe smaller)that appears to be the cause of the light reddish looking bruise.I have noticed i ve had it since tuesday.today is thursday.I have put it on ice atleast twice each day,and let the shower s hot water hit it and it hasn t gone away.FYI-I have had a bad bad this past year.Through physical examination,the Dr told me I have atleast 2 herniated discs.Is this the cause of this reddish lil bump,being that it does affect my nerves everywhere?Do I continue icing or do I seek medical attention asap?? Thanks your help in advance

i dont think that the bruise is related to your herniated disc.
the bruise can be brought about by hurting yourself on the affected hand.
i would suggest if the bruise is not painful or the swelling is not getting bigger then just wait and watch if getting worse visit a doctor a review.
you can continue with ice pack and just observe.
