What Causes Reddish Pink Bump On Buttocks?

I have a scar like scab on my buttocks its like inbetween the cheeks but no were near the butt hole and vagina...... I started to peel that scab and now there a redish pink spot there and its kinda like a bump and it is just now starting to hurt........ Do you think this will affect my health in any way or should i contact my local doctor ?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
The area of groin around labia is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.
These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.
Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
