What Causes Redness And Inflammation Inside Nostril?

I have had a history of snorting pain medication, but for the past 6 months nothing has gone into/and up my nose. The problem is, even after this amount of time when I look up my prominent nostril of abuse the inside skin still looks very red and inflamed. It doesn t cause a large amount discomfort, but can get quite irritating if its cold or im ill. what is this redness, and will it ever go away if I continue not snorting drugs? Or do I need to see a Dr/ENT ?

I hope you know the harms of snorting pain medication. It would be good for you if you give up this addiction. Hopefully you would be fine. If there is no problem do not worry about the redness in nose and avoid this habit of self nose examination and frequent picking of nose. If you feel irritation or sore in nose you may apply any lubricating moisturizing cream. If problem persist you should consult ENT doctor.
