What Causes Redness And Swelling Around Eyes?

For the past few weeks, the skin around my eyes is extremely red, swollen, and blisters on the lids. I had a sinus infection, three rounds of antibiotics, my Dr. thought it could be related to the sinus infection. The redness cleared up a bit, and this a.m., they were at their worst. I haven t changed ANYTHING, makeup, cleanser, moisturizer, laundry detergent, same glasses for two years. I don t know what to do, r what type of doctor to see. Thank you! Cndi Desmond

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having redness and swelling around the eyes.
This can be because of inflammation of skin around the eyelids as in preseptal cellulitis.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back yo me for further questions.

Thank you
