What Causes Redness And Swelling In Eyebrows After Waxing?

I got an eyebrow waxing today and I am a regular with getting this done ... Today however I experienced for the first time severe redness and stinging under my brows, which after trying cold compress has turned to swelling and puffiness. When I touch it, feels like a bag of liquid. I have placed neosporin in the area and tried ice again. What has happened? How do I proceed to make sure this does not get worse?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
From the description you ahve given, it seems like some kind of dermatitis of the skin of the eyebrows. This could have been caused by microtrauma, due to the waxing, or a reaction to one of the chemicals.
Anyways, with cold compress it should subside. You can also apply antibiotic plus steroid combination skin ointment. If needed you can take a anti Inflammatory tablet also.
All the best!!!
