Redness of eyes following shower is a common problem and it does not indicate any disease, hence no need to worry about. The redness of the eyes following shower is because of hyperemia of conjunctival vessels.
This can be prevented by using decongestant eye drops which contains vasoconstrictors like naphazoline or phenyl ephrine.
