Few days ago i have noticed that my scrotum area is kinda red , like dark red. I dont feel itchy also i dont feel any pain. I dont spend too much time looking at my testicles only thing iv kinda noticed they might lil bit loose but as far as i understand testicles get loose during summer. Iv red about so many things that i got scared stuff like Orchitis , but i dont feel pain in scrotum area while i urinate i dont have fever.... I dont know what should i do ask for med help ?
Hi. Thanks for your query. The commonest cause of redness of the scrotum is some sort of dermatitis that is not causing pain or itchiness. This may very well be due to retained soap or deodorents or so. Using new underwear can be the reason due to local reaction. Orchitis or so causes severe pain hence not your problem as you do not have pain. I would advise you the following: Use plain water frequently to wash the area and use hair dryer to keep the area dry. Avoid hot and humid atmosphere. Use loose clothes. Take an antihistamine and steroid and the problems may be gone. IF not consult a Doctor, preferably a Dermatologist for proper diagnosis, investigations and treatment.
