What Causes Redness In The Inner Corner Of The Right Eye?
Good Afternoon Dr. John Meyer I am reaching it out to you because my husband is having problems with his right eye it seems to be extremely red from the inner corner and it hurts a little, on Sunday he was under his car working on it (Mechanical work) and out of nowhere he felt like his eye popped like a vein popped or something close to that but he didn t think much of it but now his eye is very red and irritated, would you happen to know what is wrong?
it appears to be angular conjunctivitis which is generally allergic. your husband might have infection from car wash. some dirt might have entered eye so wash his eyes with fresh water. eye should be examined to detect foreign body in conjuctiva if detected then it should be removed. can take tab levocetrizine 5 mg in morning and cromal eye drop three times daily. with this redness should decrease.followup is to be made.
