What Causes Redness In The Throat And Neck Pain?
My throat has been red for a while now. I can see the veins and from time to time it becomes sore. I also sometimes have mild neck pain. There is some purple on my uvula. My tonsil s crypts have small white dots in them. and some of the lymph nodes in my neck are swollen as are the ones under my jaw. What could this be? I m worried about throat cancer.

Your symptoms are more suggestive of a chronic infection, probably strep infection. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and a throat discharge bacterial culture, coupled with tests for strep infection.
