What Causes Redness On The Foot?

Hello, My 75 year old wife is experiencing red foot lately. No pain or swelling, and it occurs mainly at night. This is new to her. We re concerned-no itching, occurs on only left foot-that perhaps this is more than a narrowing of artery and capillary branches. Looking for suggestions. Thank you. Ron and Marilyn Schlader

Redness of foot without itching could be related to venous obstruction Or inflammation.
In such circumstances a color Doppler is indicated. Also consulting an ortho doctor will help reach cause of your misery
