What Causes Redness On The Forearm While On Neosporin?
More than 24 hours ago I got a second degree burn from hot steam on my forearm. It s shape is a circle about 2in in diameter. I know that it is at least a second degree burn because there are some blisters but they haven t popped yet. I am using Neosporin and covering it with cotton gauze to prevent infection. What worries me is the color. After it s immediate redness it looked almost purple. As time passed the color deepened looking even more purple, others have commented that it almost looks like a bruise. It is painful to touch but it is not painful otherwise. In your opinion, should I worry about the color?
Dear it may be due to minor Irritation of skin due to neosporin powder. So why can't you try silverex paint over burn area.
If your skin erythema is increasing means it is ready to healing. But if you have allergy along with it you can consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care
