What Causes Redness On Vaginal Area?
The outside of my vaginal lips are red along with the area above my clit. I just had my period. This has never happened before. I use pads not tampons. I wonder if it is because the pad rubbed me raw? I put lubriderm lotion on it. It burned for a little bit but is better now. Is it just because the pad dried my skin out or is it a yeast infection please help?

You got redness around vaginal lip. You are using pad. As per your thinking you are right that using pad dry the area around lip and rubbing also produce redness.
Regarding yeast infection, you get foul smelling discharge. You are not getting that type of symptoms, so there is no yeast infection.
You are releived from redness by lotion.so its due to pad.
