What Causes Redness To The Pimple And A Ring Around The Pimple?
hi my teenage sone is 16 and a half and he has had what we thought was a pimple on his face for around 3 weeks it has now developed into a larger red pimple like thing with a slight ring around it weve tried all types of creams i dont think its a pimple any ideas please

You seem to suffer from acne vulgaris which may be inflammatory type.. so, you have redness due to erythema. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Long term cap minocycline 50 mg per day may be taken. Apply clindamycine gel, Cleanse the face with cetaphil solution. Avoid worries and tension.
