What Causes Redness To The Testicles Of A 20 Month Old?

My 20 month old, 35lb son has had pink/red testicles since Tuesday. He has not ran a temp and acts normal. He does say ouch now and then. I first thought it was from swimming lessons the past two weeks with the different type of diaper/pull-up. I have put ointment on it, then tried powder and letting him go without anything on at all. The redness does seem to get worse after he has worn a diaper.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
HI...he might be having a fungal infection. I suggest you see your pediatrician for this. Please do not self medicate. The other possibility is epidydimorchitis or a torsion testis.
Regards - Dr. Sumanth
