What Causes Reduced Period Bleeding And Abdominal Cramps After Taking IPill?
Hi doctor , i was taking regesterone from 20 th july to 29 th july and took ipill on 30 th july … i got my periods on 5th august but the bleeding was too low and got cramps too but now in this month i didnt get my periods yet and i took deviry from 11th to 15th September … is it because of pregnancy

Side effect of regesterone is vaginal spotting and abdominal cramps. Reduced periods and abdominal cramps after taking iPill is commonly due to temporary side effects like lower abdominal cramps, irregular periods, weight gain and it may also be due to temporary changes in the hormone level.
You have missed periods this month though you took Deviry. If you took iPill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, then you shouldn't be pregnant but in case you have been careless about taking it, then you may be pregnant. Wait for a couple of days if you do not get periods then take a pregnancy test with the first morning mid-stream urine.
Get clinically examined by a gynecologist to confirm pregnancy. You will be treated accordingly. In case you are not pregnant then it is due to hormonal imbalance, as soon as the body system adjusts with the hormonal changes, you will start getting normal periods. Do not stress, take home made food rich in iron, mineral and high protein.
