What Causes Regular Pus Formation And Itchy Pimples On Face?
hello doctor. i am 19 year old.i have a problem of pus formation on my face repeatedly. if one get healed, other start raising. i have pimples on my cheeks. .its very irritating, tempting to scratch the pimples.please give me some suggestions to over come this.
You are having acne vulgaris. There may be different forms of acne. I think you have habit of squeezing the lesions. But, remember that squeezing the lesions may cause secondary bacterial infection and ultimately scars and pigmentation. I can understand your concern for relapse of acne. But, you may be knowing that acne is a recurring disease.
It may be precipitated or exacerbated by many factors. There may be genetic influence. You have to reduce anxiety related acne. Have positive attitude. Few episodes of acne lesions may be there even during treatment. You may continue treatment for few months.
I usually suggest following line of treatment in my patients.....
- antibiotics like minocycline or azithromycine in proper dose - isotretinoin in low dose - clindamycine or benzoyl peroxide gel - cleansing the face with antiseptic facewash
Have patience for the good result.
Thanks.
