What Causes Repeated Noise In The Ear?

Why do I hear a repeat noise after a loud noise , in my left ear on occasion... I also feel some fullness or pressure buildup when driving downhill in left ear on occasion .... I have been told 25 years ago that I have a wider Eustachian tube in that ear.... I have BPPV but not often at all maybe once every couple if years and for only ten minutes ... I do the epely maneuver .... I have no high blood pressure or cholesterol, take no meds for anything... Nor aspirin/ tylenoks etc and have no balance issues... Hearing is fine ... I am 59... So why does this happen in left ear?

And to 1 ST question is a bit of damage to ear nerve due to loud sound. 2 nd question is pressure changes in ET during descent. Both of there are natural and normal to occur. Your doubt regarding it bei ng unilateral does not play much of a role but yet can get a Nasopharyngeal view done - xray or a scan max
