What Causes Right Abdomen Ache, Appetite Loss With Digestion Problems And Vomiting?
Hi. I am having ache in my right side of the abdomen for the last 1 week. Initially it was spread everywhere on the abdomen till chest but now after having some medicine it is reduced but still persistent. I am having loss of apetite and and not able to digest even khichdi also. I vomited 2 times last night and after vomiting the pain suddenly stops. It also stops when I take Cyclopam tablets. Is there something serious or this type of pain is common?
Hi. Your history of pain all over the abdomen for 7 days which has now concentrated on the right lower side and loss of appetite and digestion problem is suggestive of appendicitis unless proved otherwise. To prove this the best investigations is a CT scan of the abdomen, which will tell us whether this is appendicitis and if yes, the stage in which it is , whether you need a conservative treatment with antibiotics, metronidazole or you need a surgery.
Consult a Surgical Gastroenterologist.
