What Causes Right Bundle Block While Suffering From Hyper Tension?

In a recent ECG my Toronto family doctor found sinus rhythm and Right Bundle Block.The right bundle block is new.I have been living with hypertension for almost 16 years now,trying to manage it with diet,exercise,supplements and ACEs/ARBs.Also I have had cardiomegaly(large heart) all along.My question is could this right bundle block be a anomalous reading,could it be caused by my hypertension AND MOST IMPORTANTLY could I consult with a cardiologist without having to go through the IMPOSSIBLE process of getting a referral from a family physician?

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

RBBB (Right bundle branch block) is due to your heart enlargement, as such it can be found normally also. But you don't need to worry about it.

Kindly go for cardiologist directly, no need for reference from any doctor. Ask him for need of echocardiography of heart.

Don't worry RBBB has no Longterm complications. Just treatment of heart enlargement is necessary.
