What Causes Right Hand To Go Numb While Walking In A Diabetic?
Good Evening Doctor, I am in need of your kind advice regarding a problem i am faccing a problem for the last one month. I am living in Saudi Arabia working in a private c ompany. I m diabetic patient... so used to walk at least half an hour daily very briskly. The problem is after fifteen minuties of walk my right hand starts to be numb just like a man would feel while the blood flow is hindred like that. And it ends after two m inutes later when i stop walking. What may be the reason for this doctor
The problem with your right hand starting to be numb when having brisk walks might be related to: - local blood flow problems (need to run echo doppler of the blood vessels of your right hand) - increase in blood pressure : monitor your blood pressure when you are having such episode - possible heart/brain event: further cardiac tests are needed including ECG, stress test, cardiac echo, holter monitoring and other tests after being physically checked by your doctor - neurological problems : should be evaluated by neurologist to exclude them (possible diabetic neuropathy)
Hope it helped! Dr.Albana
