What Causes Right Mid Zone Opacity With Air Lucency?
I took and X'ray for my visa processing on 20 Nov.
The results where are negative and the medical resort "right mid zone opacity with adjacent area of air lucency"
What could be the reason for this? The Smear sample test where normal. Now I'm waiting for micro bacteria culture report

Lung opacity with adjacent area of air lucency may suggest consolidation.Consolidation(pneumonia) is infection of lung parenchyma and it may be due to many reasons like bacteria,virus etc.
Initially broad spectrum antibiotics are prescribed.
In non resolving consolidation,other conditions like tuberculosis,malignancy etc should be excluded.
You are undergoing evaluation for tuberculosis.
Treatment depend upon findings.
