What Causes Right Sided And Lower Back Pain After Gallbladder Removal?

hi my name is rita i have had stomach problems for years, a few years i had my gallbladder removed, i have had every test done and they seem to not be able to find my problem, i am starting to experience the same symptoms again, hurting in my ride side and it goes to my lower back, have seen gastro dr for this problem and he could not find anything says i am a medical mystery. wanted me to go to another hospital if i have this problem agin

Hi,
Small biliary leaks can result in persisting pain abdomen following gall bladder surgey. however, it would have been found out in the search they made.
The pain you are experiencing when every thing is normal may be a referred neuralgia. This is not an uncommon problem, but is generally ignored by many due to its mild and intermittent nature.
you may try Gabapentin or Amytryptiline, after consulting your doctor.
