What Causes Right Sided Flank Pain?

Was in the hospital last week with severe right flank pain long story short it was a kidney stone. I think the stone passed but in the ER I was given a CT scan with barium. I m feeling very nauseous and cramps pain in colon and I was constipated for 4 day and dot think barium was ever expelled. Could this cause me to feel so awful? What can I do?

Barium takes few days to eliminate from the body. it can cause constipation too so you should drink a lot of water and high fiber diet to help your body to eliminate it faster. Another natural treatment is prune. If this does not help, one spoon of milk of magnesia every 8 hrs until move your bowels, no more than 72hrs.
