What Causes Ring Sting In Anus?

Hi, for the last couple of weeks I have been suffering with Ext-ream "Ring Sting". I have been on a diet meaning I only eat 2 meals a day and drink 1ltr of Pure orange juice a day. I thought maybe if I cut out the orange juice it would stop but it has not. When I go for a number 2 I get "Ring sting" after wards which lasts between 1-2 hours and hurts allot. Is this because of the orange or is it something else? Dont know what to do

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The ring sting in anus is mostly related to anal fissure or dryness of perianal skin from various reasons, not due to orange juice.

Currently take sitz bath regularly, manage regular soft stools and consult later your surgeon according to the requirement for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
