What Causes Ringing In Ears And Blurred Vision?

Several months ago I started having problems with my ears ringing and my vision being dark (similar to how it gets before passing out). At first I thought I was having panic attacks / closterphobia for no apparent reason, but now I realize it was the tunel vision and the feeling like I couldn t catch my breath. There has been a couple of times that I realized that my heart was racing (110 bpm while resting). Any ideas?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of low blood pressure, which causes low blood flow to the brain during these episodes. For this reason, I recommend to closely monitor your blood pressure values, especially during these episodes. Some blood lab tests (complete blood count for anemia, blood electrolytes for possible imbalances) may be necessary too. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
