i was taking 25 mg losartan and it was causing my ears to ring, so i cut it in half and it still makes my ears ring. My ear/nose/throat dr tested me and felt it was a medication problem. my dr has quit his practise.....can i wean myself off of this med?
HI Well come to HCM The ringing sound in the ear called "Tinnitus" and in fact this is not the disease but this has got many underlying cause right from infection to physiological phenomenon due to high pitch sound induced "Tinnitus" and this could be due to too loud sound, some drug may be the cause, but not the antihypertensive drug that you are taking, most of the ringing sound comes around on its own, take care.
