What Causes Rise In Histamine Level On Waking Up?

I have to take a antihistamine upon waking in am or the itchy eyes just get me . This is new for me . Previously I ve just had minor spring hay fever. Does a person s histamine level increase upon waking . I am 65 and in good health . My email is YYYY@YYYY

normally there is no diurnal variation of histamine level. its level increases at the time of anaphylaxis. whereas patients with unexplained anaphylaxis have plasma histamine levels within the normal range during asymptomatic periods; that plasma histamine levels in patients with mastocytosis exhibit a diurnal variation,with the highest values observed in the early morning (approximately 2:00 A.M.) and the lowest values in the afternoon (approximately 2:00 P.M.).
