IS it a problem that I should worry about if after going to the bathroom there is a rough area in the rectum and almost every time a need to wipe with vasoline afterwards? Has been going on for maybe 10 years, but has gotten a little worse over the last few months.
it's need detailed examination... is there any pus discharge? fever? weight loss? whts the exact location ? local inflammation and than healing can cause hard area ... but exclude any mass in that area... visit surgeon for proctoscopy
