The inside of my lower bottom lip (as in, the space between my lower front teeth and my lip s inner flesh) is rough and appears to be redder than what the flesh should be when I pull my lip out to view the area where it is rough. Is it possibly due to my teeth causing abrasion on my inner lip?
Hi. Tats possible if there is misalignment of teeth. Other possibility is dryness because of frequent eversion of lips (turning lip outwards). Lip mucosa is very delicate and if exposed to environment, may get dry and chapped. Another possibility is erosive conditions like lichen planus. I think you should consult a dentist/ dermatologist. Hope it helps
