What Causes Round Black Spot On Buttock?

I am a 41 old female. I notice a round black spot about half the size of a dime on left top of my buttocks. It looks like a small hole you can dig in. It s been there for some months I thought it was a black head. What could it be. I have a picture if needed.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
Your description matches with that.
Usually fungal infections are itchy and recurrent.
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Treatment must be continued for at least a month to prevent recurrance.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
