Hi thanks for contacting HCM.. According to history you can have acute gastroenteritis like infection .... Do following measures..... Drink lots of fluids to maintain hydration... Take water with ORS to maintain electrolyte balance.... Avoid spicy foods ... Avoid smoking, alcohol , meat etc for few days. Fried food less.... Take ciprofloxacin antibiotic for five days. Fruit taken more ... Small meal with frequent intervals taken... Probiotic tablet taken.... If no improvement then stool examination done ... If cyst of ameba or trophozoites of giardia seen then metronidazole given..... If other parasite like hookworm or round worm there albendazole given... If abdominal spasm more dicyclomine given.. Take care ....
