Hi,

Welcome to health care magic

I have read your query thoroughly and need some more information about your condition:
1. Are you suffering from cold or a sinus infection?-if you are then the salty taste may be due to the post nasal drip( that is dripping down of secretions from behind the nose in throat).

2. It can very well be due to dehydration due to inadequate water intake particularly in this hot climate.

3. Are you on any medications?-because certain medications are known to cause this symptom.

Adequate water intake can help you in relief of your symptom.

Hope you find my answer useful.

Regards,
Dr. Tushar Tamboli
