What Causes Salty Taste In Mouth And Numbness On Right Side Of Face?

Hello, I have been having a salty taste in my mouth for years never quite knowing why. I have seen my dentist many times and he doesn t know why this is. No cavities. Sometimes it is bare able and I manage to deal with it. Talked to my doctors able it too and he would say possibly sinuses but that was never the case. 8 hrs ago was diagnosed with trigeminal neuragial had the gamma knife done for the pain in my face which helped pain. Even before gamma knife my right side of my face is completely numb and soo uncomfortable. But this taste of salt in my mouth and lips is unbearable and my tounge feels like it is tingling. Many times my daughter will say my breaths smells like metal and I offen say it taste like it to. I have been on a low dose of lexapro 10mg Since around 2004. I am a heavy drinker of diet green tea and recenty even stopped drinking that thinking it may be the aspartame in it, but s the same. Can t take it anymore. Please help. Ty.
