What Causes Scabs On My Scrotum?

hi I was wondering about the scab like things on my scrotum I peeled one off and there is a little indent where it was I have two and in that area I have had unbearable itchiness I use medicated gold bond every day I am a boy in high school and it is very hot so I sweat a lot down there I was wondering if it is serious or just a thing from masterbation or it is a pimple etc

Hi.
The scab is formed just due to the old injuries you must have inflicted while itching the scrotal skin in the night during sleep. As you have already said the hot atmosphere causes a lots of sweating in the scrotal area and this being a different skin, is easily pealed off on wetting up.
So do not worry. This is not due to masturbation or so.
I would advise in such a situation the following:
Clean the area of the scrotum and perineum 2 to 4 times with plain water or with very mild soap and see that all the traces of soap have been showered off.
Make the area dry with hair dryer.
Apply liquid povidone iodine at bed-time to make the area sterile.
Keep the area ventilated, use loose underwear and pants.
This will help you get get well soon.
IF this does not help consult a Dermatologist once to rule out any other problems.'
