Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The skin architecture is definitely weak there and it would require some time for he skin to return to its original architecture and tensile strength. Since elbow is a trauma prone site therefore i advice him to protect it from minor trauma as it can lead to blisters. He can use a topical antibiotic ointment e.g either Neosporin Ointment Or Mupirocin ointment 2% ointment, twice daily over the blisters.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
