What Causes Scanty Menstrual Periods?

Hi,I am 25 years old female.. my first question is I get scanty periods.. very minimal bleeding which is reducing with time.. is that a problem? Considering the fact that we have a family history of early menopause in the 30 s.. second question is that me and my husband have been in a sexual relationship for more than 7 years and never used any contraception or protection.. he uses a pull method.. and I never conceived.. now we are thinking to go for a baby.. should there be any problems?

Hi,

Normally this type of scanty period should not decrease your chances of conceiving. However, still you are advised for going for testing of your Thyroid profile as well as for sex hormones and if any abnormality noted, treatment accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
