What Causes Scratchy Sound In Ears After Getting Hit On Head?

Hi Doc. I am worried! My 7 year old Son was accidently hit hard with a Baseball Bat today at round about 15:00 just behind die left ear at the side of his head. He was in Shock had a lot of Pain but no other signs of a Concussion yet. I ve put some ice on, gave him Nurofen then and now at 19:30 and put some Arnica Gel on then and now. He fell asleep at 20:00. He is only complaining of some kind of scratchy sound he hear in his ear when turning his head from side to side- The sound is there, but comes and goes. It s not there all the time. Does he need a CT Scan and do i need to take him to a Ear Specialist? Like i ve said, i m SO worried. :-(
