yes I have systemic lupus and ITP (thrombocytopenia) and currently do dialysis 3 times a week for 3 hours and 15 minutes. ever since starting the dialysis treatments in January of this year I have also had 5-6 seizures. can this be a result of low blood pressure and if so how can I raise my blood pressure.
seizures during dialysis are GTCS ( generalised tonic clonic) seizures. occurs secondary to Electrolyte imbalance during dialysis.Get your Serum Na+ ,K +,Ca++ and Mg++ done. if normal then go ahead with MRI brain.
