Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Semi-diarrhea And Stomach Pain Before Passing Stools?
I have white specks in my stool that is halfway diarrhea . I ve tried google and got 2 results and didn t like either of them. The semi diarrhea started yesterday and I thought it was jet lag from only sleeping 3 hours, and today I m seeing the white specks (very small, like dots) and my stomach hurts a lot right before I have to run to the bathroom, just like my previous events with jet lag. Is this just from lack of sleep, worms, or something else?
White dots or specs may be mucous or pus seen in dysentery. Other possibilities like irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or infections etc.
Get it done stool examination and microscopy. Use tablet Ofloxacin and ornidazole twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
