My son, age 13, said that he could smell rubber. sensation lasted about half an hour. It has happened just once about a week ago. he was also a bit weepy for a couple of days for no apparant reason. Our GP has sent him for blood test which have all come back normal. My husband now thinks he needs a brain scan. can these symptoms be linked to anything serious. What if anything can be done? What would you recommend?
