Hi, I m 18, I ve been to the doctors often enough to know i dont have an std or any infections (at least ive been treated for a few even when we didnt know if i had them), im wondering if its normal for my vagina to be sensitive during sex. Usually right after my period, which i use tampons during, having sex makes my vagina burn during and after for a little. is this normal? it did that really often a few months ago and we stopped using latex condoms because i didnt know if that was the cause of it or not. ive had one other sex partner and he wasnt as big as the one i have now. I dont remember it burning before.. i have no idea whats causing this so i dont know what to do.. please help me :)
Hello, pain in vagina after sex is likely due to vaginitis or infection secondary to sex. It is likely that your second partner has fungal infection or bacterial infection which got transferred to you possibly. Please get a vaginal swab culture done once you get it. Regards
