What Causes Several Episodes Of Vomiting?

My boyfriend has had several episodes of vomiting randomly. For instance, last night he bagn to vomit at 3:30 and has continued all day. He had, what we believe to be, food poisoning about three weeks ago and the random instances of vomiting several times. Should I be worried?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to food poisoning. Some advises that I can give to you are :

-Avoid food for the first few hours as your stomach settles down.
- Drink water, broth, or an electrolyte solution, which will replace the minerals that you lose with vomiting and diarrhea.
-Eat when you feel ready, but start with small amounts of bland, non-fatty foods such as toast, rice, and crackers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
