What Causes Severe Abdomen Cramps With Constipation?

I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom and when I couldn t, it didn t phase me because that happens sometimes and I usually go later. Well, this time it caught up with me about 15 minutes later my stomach felt like a fist sized rock was dropped from my heart to my lower stomach...it just hit me real fast...my stomach starts cramping and I feel like I just badly need to poop, the longer I walked to the bathroom the more I curled up by time I was at the bathroom I was standing at a 90° angle...I tried to poop but of course nothing came out...it just hurt really bad where that rock is...after a bit I started sweating really bad and got nauseas from the pain...now the pain won t ease off...I m laying down curled up on my bed..help please? Is this something bad or is it just a bad case of gas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history sudden pain in abdomen and need to pass the bowel movement , visited the bathroom but could not pass the motion and the pain increased so much that you had to curl up sweating and nauseated.
All your history is suggestive of a disease that needs immediate medical attention, investigations and proper treatment, surgery if needed.
The probable causes of such a pain are as follows:
Perforation of a intestine or stomach ulcer.
Rupture of some cyst or so.
I would advise you the following:
Rush to ER / call the emergency services or ambulance and get shifted to the ward for resuscitation of the general condition.
Investigations:
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position to see for gases under diaphragm.
Ultrasonography and the relevant blood, urine and stool tests.
If there is perforation or such a surgical emergency, you need to get operated urgently.
If there is a medical reason, get the proper resuscitation and further medical treatment and get a cure.
I find this answer helpful
