What Causes Severe Abdominal, Lower Back And Neck Pain With Crohn S Disease?
Hi. I have Crohn s disease and I have been experiencing severe abdominal, lower back and neck pain for about a week now. I also have trouble with grabbing things with my hands and my shoulders are very stiff and painful. There has been a major change in my stool, instead of the usual diarrhea, I now experience constipation and occasional mucus and blood in my stool. I feel a strange pressure in my anus and for 2 days I have been leaking a clear fluid. I took Immodium to stop it, but I am not sure what to make of these symptoms. I am not sleeping well and am irritated and exhausted. I have an appointment with the specialist in a month from now. Should I contact a doctor for these symptoms sooner or can this wait?
* As there is associated joint pains with disturbed sleep, immune mechanics are at high-level functioning and the same must be addressed to your consultant at an early period rather than delaying for a month.
* Likely high levels of antibodies circulating in the blood has affected multiple joints as well to cause exhaustion systematically.
* Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids and consume probiotics for better results.
* Only acetaminophen in recommended doses are advisable as an analgesic after meals. Do feel free to ask further doubts.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
