What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain When Diagonised With Lesion In Spleen
About 2 years ago in er they found a 4cm lesion on my splee. A week ago i went in for what i thought was a kidney stone to the er and they did an ultrasound and said my lesion on my spleen has grown about 2cm i made a follow up with my doctor but i have been having really bad pain in my left side for the last two months. Should o be worried? what is causing it to hurt so bad? Its very hard to eat anymore. Thank you for your time
HI. Thanks for your history. The history difficulty or ''hard to eat'' excludes the spleen lesion to cause such a problem. IT can not cause such a lengthy problem. This can be due to pancreatitis , gastritis , stomach ulcers or cancer, colitis or so. I would advise you the following: Upper GI Endoscopy. CT scan of the abdomen Routine blood tests including amylase and lipase, Urine and stool tests. Physical examination by a General Surgeon. All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and proper management
