General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Blood you experienced is indicative for hemorrhoids or any possible anal fissure, especially when your stool was hard.

Having a swollen face is not related to colonoscopy. Depending on your actual age, it might be due to:
- kidney problems (e.g. infection)
- changes in blood pressure
- medications you might be currently taking.

I advise to get an emergency appointment with your physician for further evaluations and adequate treatment.

All the best!
