What Causes Severe Back Pain During Pregnancy?

I know back pain is normal during pregnancy but I was wondering if there might be something else wrong. I have back pain so bad that ive been using a wheelchair to get around my home. I walk bent over and the lower part of my back snaps and cracks when I walk. Thank you.

I understand your concern and will do the best I can to answer your question.

You are right: some degree of low back pain is experienced by many women during pregnancy. Needing a wheelchair, only being able to walk bent over and the snapping and cracking sounds awful: I am so sorry you are this uncomfortable.
If you have access to a good chiropractor or sports medicine specialist they can do a very thorough exam in the office that will help decide if this is an annoying problem that can be helped by physical therapy or a serious issue needing a MRI or evaluation by a back specialist.
Best of luck to you and I hope you are feeling better soon
